In 2023, the Kaanbal Suut project completed the training of its third generation of women and men leaders, successfully teaching modules in financial sustainability, communication, and fiscal and legal topics, training 20 organized groups. Furthermore, the project facilitated the formation of three alliances and is currently developing another five. With 80% female leadership, the groups with which it works have had a positive impact on the activities of around 3,000 people. Additionally, progress was made in mapping systemic challenges and defining strategies, culminating in the formation of a community alliance to address local problems. The closing workshop, held in November, celebrated three years of project achievements, with 55 civil groups and organizations strengthened, 127 leaders trained, and more than eight alliances linked in the Kaanbal Suut network.
